Men's Golf Announces Signing of Knowles
Nov. 15, 2005 LAWRENCE, Kan. - University of Kansas head men's golf coach Ross Randall announced the signing of Bobby Knowles (Omaha, Neb.) to a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday. "We are really happy with the signing of Bobby," head coach Ross Randall said. "He is a great player, a great student and we think he will have a really bright future here at Kansas." Knowles has been named to the All-State team each of his last two seasons at Creighton Prep. He won the 2004 Pepsi Little People's Golf Championship in Quincy, Ill., and was named an Honorable Mention Rolex All-American by the AJGA in 2004. Knowles also tied for first at the 2004 Collegiate Preview Series/Jayhawk Invitational in Lawrence with current KU freshman Patrick Roth. In addition to his on-course achievements, Knowles is also a member of the National Honor Society.
