A 2008 graduate of Perris High School in Perris, Calif. ... Led her team to back-to-back Sunbelt League titles in 2007 and 2008 ... As a junior she was named All-Sunbelt League after posting 15 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals per outing ... In addition to all-league honors she also was named first team All-CIF and first team All-County ... Coached at Perris High by Marvin Williams ... Earned two letters in basketball and track at PHS ... During her first two years of high school, Sutherland attended Corona Santiago High School where she led the Mountain View League in points, rebounds and blocks as a sophomore ... She was named league MVP, first team All-County and second team All-CIF following the 2005-06 season.
