KANSAS STARTERS (CAREER/SEASON):

Angel Goodrich (89-13), Monica Engelman (81-13), Bunny Williams (3-3), Carolyn Davis (83-13) and Natalie Knight (47-13).

KU'S WIN:

Improved the Jayhawks record to 11-2 overall, 2-0 in the Big 12.

Brought head coach Bonnie Henrickson's KU record to 149-123 (9th season) and her career to 307-185 (16th season).

Moved the Jayhawks' all-time record to 746-521.

Gave Kansas its first 2-0 Big Conference start since the 1998-99 season and secured a 2-2 record on the road for KU this season.

Increased the Jayhawks record against the Mountaineers to 3-0 overall. This game marked their first Big 12 Conference meeting.

TEAM NOTES:

At the 10:08 mark, Kansas went on a 12-2 run after suffering a 13-point deficit and tied the game, 21-21, after 4:29. The 13-point deficit was the largest the Jayhawks had faced all season.

The Jayhawks' bench outscored the Mountaineers' bench 15-4, including 11-2 during the first half.

KU took its first lead, 32-31, 2:20 into the second half. The largest lead the Jayhawks had was by four points, 39-35, at the 13:46 mark.

With 1:45 remaining, Kansas tied, 54-54, West Virginia and this marked the fifth tie of the game.

The Jayhawks finished with13 team steals, three shy of their season high (16) against Newman Dec. 9, 2012.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:

Senior Carolyn Davis scored her 1,5000th career point 2:02 into the game off a jumper, becoming the 11th Jayhawk in school history to score over 1,500 points. Davis finished with 14 points, scoring ten of her 14 in the second half.

Senior guard Angel Goodrich led her team in points, for the fifth time this season, scoring 16. This marked the ninth game Goodrich posted double-digit points. Goodrich also added six steals, a season high.

Senior guard Monica Engelman grabbed seven rebounds, five defensively, to tie for the team lead

Sophomore forward Chelsea Gardner posted seven rebounds.
