KANSAS STARTERS (CAREER/SEASON): Angel Goodrich (95-19), Monica Engelman (87-19), Chelsea Gardner (14-4), Carolyn Davis (89-19) and Natalie Knight (53-19).

KU’S WIN:

• Improved the Jayhawks record to 13-6 overall, 4-4 in the Big 12.

• Brought head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s Kansas record to 151-127 (ninth season) and her career record to 309-189 (16th season).

• Moved the Jayhawk’s all-time record to 748-525.

• Gave KU an 11-2 record this season in Allen Fieldhouse, while the Jayhawks record increased to 26-8 against Iowa State at home. Kansas is now 45-28 against the Cyclones with Henrickson moving to 7-11.

• The last time Iowa State won in Allen Fieldhouse was Feb. 25, 2010.

TEAM NOTES:

• Down by 17-points with 8:48 remaining in the game, the Jayhawks went on a 27-10 run to close out regulation.

• Including today’s win, Kansas has trailed at halftime in eight of its past nine games and came out victorious in three of them.

• KU’s bench outscored ISU’s bench 17-2, making it the seventh of eight conference games the Jayhawks have done so.

Natalie Knight became the sixth KU player (Davis, Goodrich, Engelman, Gardner and Harper) on this team to score 20+ points in a game.

• Kansas tied the game with 16 seconds remaining in play, coming back from its largest deficit of 18 at the 8:56 mark, on a three-point basket from Goodrich. This was the second tie of the game and first of the second half.

• The last time Jayhawks went to overtime was Jan. 31, 2012 when they played Oklahoma and lost by six points in Lawrence. The last extra period game Kansas won was a double-overtime affair versus Iowa State on Jan. 11, 2012, with the Jayhawks coming out on top 74-67 in Lawrence.

• The 18-point comeback marked largest deficit overcome this season resulting in a win. The previous deficit overcome was at West Virginia Jan. 5, 2013 when the Jayhawks trailed by 13 points.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:

• Senior guard Angel Goodrich became the 10th Jayhawk to have more than 200 career steals (204), finishing with five on the night. She recorded her first double-double of the season (sixth career) with a season high 24 points and 10 assists, also surpassing her season high (nine). Goodrich has posted double digits in 14 games, including four 20+ games, and has led the team in assists 17 times this season.

• Sophomore guard Natalie Knight scored the first 10 of the Jayhawks 12 points. She broke her three-point career high with five (5-for-9) from beyond the arc and finished with 21 points, also a career high.

• With 1:46 remaining in regulation, Knight left the game with an apparent knee injury. Team doctors have yet to announce her status.

• Senior forward Carolyn Davis led the team with nine rebounds and chipped in 15 points, scoring 10 in the second half and three in overtime.
