KANSAS STARTERS (CAREER/SEASON): Angel Goodrich (100/24), Monica Engelman (92/24), Chelsea Gardner (19/9), Carolyn Davis (94/24) and CeCe Harper (17/5).

KU’S WIN:

• Improved the Jayhawks’ record to 16-8 overall, 7-6 in the Big 12.

• Brought head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s Kansas record to 154-129 (ninth season) and her career record to 312-191 (16th season).

• Moved the Jayhawks’ all-time record to 751-527.

• Made Henrickson’s all-time record against Oklahoma 2-9, while the Jayhawks in the overall series improved to 29-30.

• Gave KU a 12-3 record this season in Allen Fieldhouse,

• Gives Kansas a 14-13 record against OU in Allen Fieldhouse and ended Oklahoma’s seven-game winning streak in Lawrence, Kan.

• Marked KU’s first home victory against OU since February 20, 1999, when the Jayhawks defeated the Sooners, 58-54. It is also the first two-straight wins for Kansas since the 1998-99 season.

TEAM NOTES:

• During the first period, Kansas had a 15-2 run, 19-7, that began at the 14:25 mark and lasted for 5:21.

• The Jayhawks’ first 14 points were all scored in the paint, 10 of which KU converted off turnovers.

• Kansas secured its largest first-half lead (12) with 7:09 left in the period, 19-7.

• After 20 minutes of play, KU shot 50 percent (3-for-6) from beyond the arc, making it the fourth game conference game the Jayhawks have shot 50 percent or better in a half from the three (K-State, 1/2; West Virginia, 1/5; Texas, 1/23).

• The Jayhawks went into halftime with a 34-22 lead. That is the first time in the past seven games that Kansas has entered the break with an advantage, with the last one coming against Texas (1/23).

• Four Jayhawks (Goodrich, Engelman, Gardner, Davis) finished the game in double-digits for the fourth time in conference play this season (K-State,1/2; Oklahoma State, 1/26; K-State, 2/2).

• The Jayhawks presence in the paint accounted for 46 of KU’s points.

• Kansas’ took its largest lead of the game (19) at the 11:14 mark of the second half, 54-35.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:

• Senior forward Carolyn Davis scored 13 (6-for-9) of her 24 points in the first half and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Jayhawks, making it her fourth double-double this season, third straight. This performance marked the senior’s sixth game posting 20+ points in the 2012-13 campaign. Davis is four points shy of claiming the No. 7 most-scoring Jayhawk, surpassing Tamecka Dixon (1,689).

• Senior guard Angel Goodrich became Kansas’ all-time career assists leader with 687. Goodrich posted her second double-double of the season and seventh career, in her 100th career start and 100th game as a Jayhawk.

• Sophomore forward Chelsea Gardner was one rebound short of a double-double, finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds, seven on the defensive glass.

• Senior guard Monica Engelman posted her second game of at least 20 points, adding 21 for the Jayhawks. This is her second-straight game scoring over 20 points.
