KANSAS STARTERS (CAREER/SEASON): Angel Goodrich (101/25), Monica Engelman (93/25), Chelsea Gardner (20/10), Carolyn Davis (95/25) and CeCe Harper (17/5).

KU’S LOSS:

• Dropped the Jayhawks’ record to 16-9 overall, 7-7 in Big 12 play.

• Brought head coach Bonnie Henrickson’s Kansas record to 154-130 (ninth season) and her career record to 312-192 (16th season).

• Moved the Jayhawks’ all-time record to 751-528.

• Made Henrickson’s all-time record against Texas 5-6, while the Jayhawks in the overall series fell to 10-15.

• Gives Kansas a 4-7 record against UT in Austin, Texas, and ended the Jayhawks’ three game-winning streak.

TEAM NOTES:

• Texas jumped out to a 20-12 lead, shooting 100 percent (10-for-10) from the field, and shot 76 percent in the first half, the highest percentage any KU opponent has shot this season.

• Kansas had a 7-0 run, beginning at the 6:32 mark, that lasted 1:27 for a 28-35 score.

• By the first half 3:26 mark, the Longhorns scored more points (40) than they finished with when they traveled to Allen Fieldhouse adn lost to the Jayhawks, 76-38, Jan. 23.

• Texas finished with five players scoring in double figure, whereas coference foes previous meeting (1/23), Kansas held all the Texas players to single digit scores, the first opponent this season.

• The Longhorns shot a Kansas opponent high, 65 percent, from the field. Baylor (2/6/13) previously held the season opponent high with 57 percent.

• At the 7:56 mark,55-72, Kansas went on a 15-6 run to lesser its deficit, 70-78.

• The first Jayhawk (Goodrich) to score 30+ points in a contest since Davis scored 34 against Texas Tech January 25,2012.

• UT scored the most points (93) a Big 12 opponent has against the Jayhawks since Baylor scored 90 (1/28/06).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES:

• Senior forward Carolyn Davis became the No. 7 all-time scoring Jayhawk with 1,710 career points. The senior surpassed Tamecka Dixon (1,689) 2:29 into the game with a layup and finished the game with 23 points. Davis has tallied double-digits points in 22-of-25 games and posted her first back-to-back 20+ scoring game this season.

• Senior guard Angel Goodrich scored a career-high 31 points. The senior sank five of KU’s eight three-point baskets, including three in the first period. The last time Goodrich scored five or more from beyond the arc was against Texas (1/23), when she shot 5-for-7. The John R. Wooden Top-20 candidate posted her fifth game this season, 13th career, scoring 20+ points.

• Junior guard CeCe Harper tied a career high with five steals and added six assists for the Jayhawks, one short of a career high (7).
