Postgame Notes Kansas’ win versus Nebraska --Improves the Jayhawks to 10-11 in NCAA Tournament games. --Advances Kansas to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time and first since 1999. --Improves KU to 50-31 all-time versus Nebraska. --Improves the Jayhawks to 7-6 away from in 2011-12. --Makes head coach Bonnie Henrickson 7-10 against NU, 137-120 at Kansas and 295-182 for her career. --Makes Kansas 734-517 all time. Team Notes --Nebraska’s 20 first half points tied a KU opponent low for points in a half this season. --The Jayhawks out-rebounded their opponent for the 15th time this season grabbing a 45-42 advantage on the glass. KU’s 45 boards were its most since recording 49 rebounds versus Sam Houston State on Dec. 28, 2011, a span of 20 games. --KU’s seven assists were a season low. Individual Notes --Goodrich had five assists, her 27th game in 2011-12 with five or more dimes. --Chelsea Gardner scored a personal-high for the second-straight game with 15 points. She also notched her first career double-double pulling down a team-best 16 rebounds. --Gardner’s 16 rebounds tied for the most by a KU player in the NCAA Tournament. --Aishah Sutherland played in her 128th contest which ties for the fifth-most appearances in a KU career. --Monica Engelman logged 15 minutes of floor time, her most in six outings. --Natalie Knight went 1-for-4 from the three-point arc and has at least one trey in four-straight games.
