Spirits were high in Allen Fieldhouse Saturday night as KU fans came out to support the Jayhawks in the Border Showdown with Missouri.

 A crowd of 4,629 were on hand for KU's 63-61 victory.

 Aquanita Burras got KU off to a fast start with a driving basket. The senior scored 12 points.
Erica Hallman whipped a pass inside, one of her six assists to go along with her 16 points.

 Crystal Kemp broke to the basket for two of her game-high 22 points.

 Taylor McIntosh's defense helped slow the Tigers' attack.
Former KU players were honored during a timeout in the second half.

 Coach Bonnie Henrickson leaned in to direct her team's offensive attack.
