Kaylee Brown drove the lane for a basket Wednesday night in Manhattan. Brown finished with eight points.

 Ivana Catic battled her way for two of her six points.

 Erica Hallman hit an off-balance shot in the lane. Hallman poured in 18 points.
KU players gathered together to mount a late comeback.

 Crystal Kemp broke up a pass intended for Kansas State's Carolyn McCullough.

 Kemp led all KU scorers with 20 points.
Shaquina Mosley was fouled late in the game as she drove the lane.

 Marija Zinic blocked the path to the basket.

 Zinic put up a short hook shot in the lane.
Sophronia Sallard and Zinic combined on a full-court press that helped KU dramatically cut Kansas State's lead.

 Sharita Smith, Ivana Catic and Katie Smith linked arms in support of the Jayhawks' run.

 Coach Bonnie Henrickson and staff left the Wildcats' court after the tough battle.
