 Coach Bonnie Henrickson discussed strategy with her team.

 KU fans received pennants in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
Crystal Kemp put up a jumper between three Iowa State defenders. Kemp led KU with 19 points.

 Taylor McIntosh battled for control of the ball.

 Erica Hallman was fouled on her way to the basket and hit one of two free throws to put KU ahead for good.
