LAWRENCE, Kan. - Under a brilliant blue sky with perfect spring temperatures, student-athletes at the University of Kansas "walked the hill" Sunday morning as part of commencement ceremonies for the graduating class of 2012. Aishah Sutherland and Angel Goodrich represented the Kansas women's basketball team and were part of a group of more than 90 student-athletes across KU's 18 sports who graduated over the weekend.

The Jayhawk graduates participated in the KU tradition that involves walking through the World War II Memorial Campanile and then down the hill into Memorial Stadium where the graduation ceremony takes place.
