KU Women's Basketball TV Schedule Released

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Three appearances on FOX Sports Net and another on ESPN2 highlight the Kansas women's basketball television schedule for the 2012-13 season. The Jayhawks will once again be one of the most-televised teams in the nation as a total of 24 games will be broadcast, including all 17 regular season home games and the two exhibition contests. As previously released, the Jayhawks' Feb. 17 game against Oklahoma at Allen Fieldhouse will be available nationally on ESPN2. In addition, three other KU home games will appear on FSN - Baylor (Jan. 13), West Virginia (Feb. 9) and Texas Tech (Feb. 24). Metro Sports in Kansas City is scheduled to air five home games this season. Those contests include Minnesota (Dec. 2), Kansas State (Jan. 2), Texas (Jan. 23), Iowa State (Jan. 30) and the regular-season finale against TCU (March 5). The Jayhawks' remaining 10 home games will be televised on Knology in Lawrence. Coverage on Knology begins with KU's first exhibition game against Washburn on Oct. 28. The other games to air on Knology include Fort Hays State (Nov. 4), Idaho State (Nov. 11), Southeast Missouri State (Nov. 14), Wake Forest (Nov. 18), Alabama A&M (Nov. 23), Grambling State (Nov. 28), Newman (Dec. 9), Prairie View A&M (Dec. 16) and Oklahoma State (Jan. 26).
In addition to Kansas' television lineup, all the home games, with the exception of the ESPN2 and FSN games, will be streamed on AT&T Jayhawk All-Access through the Kansas Athletics' website. Jayhawk All-Access will also air head coach Bonnie Henrickson's weekly Hawk Talk radio show throughout the season.
