KU's starters kept an eye on a highlight video shown prior to player introductions on the new video board.

In the newly remodeled Allen Fieldhouse, Sharita Smith fired a jumper that was shown simultaneously on the new scoreboard.

Jamie Boyd worked her way around a Pittsburg State double team.

Kaylee Brown had a hard time seeing the basket on one driving shot.

Brown, however, didn't have any troubles from long range scoring 12 points for KU.

Freshman Ivana Catic started at point guard for the Jayhawks.

Catic recorded five steals.

Coach Bonnie Henrickson watched five players score in double figures for the Jayhawks.

Henrickson used a timeout to disucss stategy.

Crystal Kemp paced the Jayhawks with 24 points.

Kemp scored on 11 of her 18 shots.

Taylor McIntosh battled under the basket.

Junior Shaquina Mosley scored 13 points in her debut for KU, many on drives through the Gorillas' defense.

Another newcomer Sophronia Sallard worked her way inside for two of her 13 points.

Ivana Catic and Marija Zinic joined KU from Serbia & Montenegro and combined on a defensive effort Sunday.

Mosley and Boyd trapped Pittsburg State's Tracy Patry.

KU's players acknowledged their fans after their 90-65 exhibition victory.
