Ivana Catic was the first starter to be introduced as KU began their quest to open the season with 11 straight victories, a KU record.

 Kaylee Brown fought here way into the lane.

 Ivana Catic was fouled as she went up for a shot in the lane.
Catic hit two three-point shots and finished the night with 16 points.

 Coach Bonnie Henrickson shouted instructions to the team.

 Crystal Kemp drove to the basket for two of her 25 points.
Kemp made her move for another basket.

 Kaylee Brown and Kemp battled for a loose ball.

 Shaquina Mosley raced up the court after a steal late in the first half.
Marija Zinic came up with a defensive stop.

 Zinic turned for a short jumper.

 A crowd of 4,025 came looking for a perfect end to 2005.
Erica Hallman responded for the Jayhawks and finished with 11 points.

 The KU bench leaped with joy after a Hallman three-pointer put KU ahead for good with 1:02 left.
The large KU crowd roared with delight over the Jayhawks' comeback.

Coach Henrickson gave KU its final second instructions.

 Happy Jayhawks waved to the large crowd.
