Kansas Finishes 16th At Netsy Rawls Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Kansas women's golf team took 16th place at the 2005 Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin, Texas. The Jayhawks shot a final round of 319 which was their best round of the tournament. "We played a little better today" head coach Erin O'Neil said. "I think we just need to get our confidence back before next week." Duke took home the tournament title with a 914 followed by Oklahoma State with a 915. Sophomore Amanda Costner finished in a tie for 42nd with a three round total of 241. Junior Chelsey Pryor tied for 56th with a 244. Junior Meredith Winkelmann finished in 81st place with a 251. Freshman Annie Giangrosso finished in a tie for 85th with a 254. Sophomore Jill Womble tied for 88th with a 255. Junior Tiffany Woods competed as an individual and tied for 88th with a 255.
