Women's Golf In 16th

BATON ROUGE, La. - The University of Kansas women's golf team shot an opening round of 325 and is in 16th place at the LSU/Cleveland Classic held at the University Club. LSU is currently in first with a 296 followed by Tulane with a 302. Sophomore Amanda Costner shot a 78 to place in a tie for 29th. Freshman Annie Giangrosso is tied for 40th after an opening round of 79. Junior Chelsey Pryor is tied for 73rd after an opening round of 83. Junior Tiffany Woods shot an 85 to tie for 83rd. Junior Meredith Winkelmann is in 87th after an 86. Sophomore Jill Womble, playing as an individual, is tied for 83rd after an 85.
