BATON ROUGE, La. -

The University of Kansas women's golf team shot an opening round of 325 and is in 16^th place at the LSU/Cleveland Classic held at the University Club.  

LSU is currently in first with a 296 followed by Tulane with a 302.

Sophomore Amanda Costner shot a 78 to place in a tie for 29^th.  Freshman Annie Giangrosso is tied for 40^th after an opening round of 79.  Junior Chelsey Pryor is tied for 73^rd after an opening round of 83.  Junior Tiffany Woods shot an 85 to tie for 83^rd.  Junior Meredith Winkelmann is in 87^th after an 86.  Sophomore Jill Womble, playing as an individual, is tied for 83^rd after an 85.
