Women's Golf Tied For Ninth At Price's Give `Em Five

Las Cruces, N.M. - The University of Kansas women's golf team is currently tied for ninth place, in an 18-team field, after shooting a two-round total of 617 at the Price's Give `Em Five Intercollegiate. "We are becoming more consistent and I feel good about that," head coach Erin O'Neil said. "We still have to be patient because we are a young team." Texas Tech is currently in first place with a score of 592 followed by Arizona State which shot a 594. Juniors Tiffany Woods and Chelsey Pryor lead the Jayhawks after each player fired a two-round total of 153 to tie for 28th. Sophomore Jill Womble is in a tie for 43rd after she totaled a 155. Sophomore Amanda Costner shot a two-round total of 157 to tie for 52nd. Freshman Annie Giangrosso is currently in 86th after shooting a 167.
