LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Golf World has selected Kansas junior Meghan Gockel as one of its "College Players of the Week" for the period between March 2-8. The feature will appear in the March 16^th issue of Golf World and can be viewed online now by clicking on the link below.

Gockel won medalist honors at the Duramed Collegiate Invitational this past weekend with a five-over 218. Her 54-hole score was the lowest of her college career and tied for the fourth lowest in school history.

Golf World's "College Players of the Week" section highlights a male and a female who have demonstrated outstanding individual play during a seven day period. This week's male honoree was sophomore Ryan Haselden of Vanderbilt.
