2004: Earned the "Essence of a Jayhawk" Award... Member of the Varsity 4 boat that placed fifth in the C Finals at the South-Central Regionals... Named a Jayhawk Scholar. 2003: Joined the team her sophomore year and became a consistent competitor as coxswain for the 1st and 2nd Novice 8 boats, as well as the Novice 4 boat... As a member of the Novice 4 boat, earned a third place finish at the Knecht Cup and took home a gold medal against Cincinnati... On the 1st Novice 8, earned a gold medal against Kansas State and a second place finish against Texas... As a member of the 2nd Novice 8 notched a second place finish at the Big 12 Invitational... Named Jayhawk Scholar and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. High School: Attended Park Hill South in Parkville Mo., where she lettered in soccer and softball... Helped her team win conference soccer championships in her junior and senior years... Earned a place on the Honor Roll all four years in high school... Was a member of the National Honor Society.
