Kansas Rowing to Hold Open Tryouts

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Kansas rowing will be holding walk-on tryouts for the 2010-2011 season. Two informational meetings will be held Wednesday, Aug. 25, and Thursday, Aug. 26, at the University of Kansas Boathouse in Burcham Park. Both meetings will be at 5 p.m. The Jayhawks are seeking competitive athletes with all levels of experience. Last year, the team captured the Kansas Cup and placed third in the Big 12 Championships.
