Rowing to Compete at the Head of the Oklahoma

The University of Kansas rowing team's fall season commences this Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Head of the Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. The races will begin at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, with the final race competing on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 3:00 p.m. The Jayhawks will enter boats in the Women's Varsity Four, Women's Novice Eight, Women's Open Double and the Women's Open Single. The event, which takes place on the Oklahoma River, is expected to include teams from Tulsa, Kansas State, Texas, Navy, Southern Methodist, Wichita State and Texas A&M-Galveston.
