Kansas Rowing Continues Fall Season At Head of the Iowa

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- After four weeks of rest, the Jayhawks will continue the Fall season when they travel to Iowa City, Iowa on Sunday for the Head of the Iowa. With a very strong showing at the Head of the Oklahoma, Kansas hopes to continue its success this weekend. When Kansas last competed, it took the top spot in the Open Double and the Novice Four races. The Jayhawks went on to place second in the Novice Eight, Open Single and third in the Varsity Four and Varsity Eight duals. On Sunday, Kansas will enter twelve boats in the Open Single, three boats in the Varsity Four race and two boats in the Novice Four, Novice Eight, Open Eight and Lightweight Single.
