Kansas Rowing to Compete in Frostbite Regatta

LAWRENCE, Kan.-- Kansas rowing heads to Wichita, Kan., on Sunday, Nov. 2, to compete in the Frostbite Regatta on the Little Arkansas River. The regatta marks the first competition of the 2008-09 season for the novice team.
This is the first time in the last four seasons that the Jayhawks will not compete in the Head of the Hooch regatta. The Head of the Hooch takes place this weekend in Tennessee.
Kansas will wrap up fall competition next Saturday, Nov. 8, against Kansas State in the Sunflower showdown.
The race schedule and boatings are listed below. The Kansas Athletics official website, www.kuathletics.com, will have results following the regatta.
