Justin Howell

New to the University of Kansas soccer program is Justin Howell, who joins the Jayhawks for the 2011 season as a volunteer assistant coach. Howell comes to KU after spending last year with the George Washington University women's soccer team as a volunteer coach. He also held his own goalkeeper training sessions while in the D.C. area.
At Kansas, Howell will be responsible for various scheduling needs on the road, team meals and opponent video. He will also assist associate head coach Kelly Miller with the training of the Jayhawks' goalkeepers and defensive line.
A 2009 graduate at Drake University, Howell played for the Bulldogs from 2004-08 and helped the team reach a top 25 ranking during the 2004 season. He holds a bachelor's degree in environmental science.
