Meghan Miller enters her first season with the Jayhawks as the team's volunteer assistant coach.

After finishing her eligibility in 2004, Miller is looking to pursue a career in coaching. For the past four years, she has worked at the University of Washington goalkeeper camp and was a lead counselor last summer. She has also worked camps for the Seattle Sounders W-League women's team, a team which she has played on for four years.

Miller is the KU all-time leader in goals against average with her last season as her best at 0.57. She also holds the school record for most career shutouts (30) and starts with 87. In 2003 and 2004, she received conference recognition by making first team All Big 12 and in 2004, Miller was named to the NSCAA second team All-American following her senior year at KU.

The Seattle, Wash., native will primarily work with the goalkeepers and the defense to try and help the Jayhawks maintain one of the best goals against average in the conference and nation.
