Kansas Soccer Downs Saint Louis, 2-1

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Freshmen Whitney Berry and Jamie White scored goals to lead Kansas past Saint Louis University, 2-1, Saturday in an exhibition soccer match at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Kansas City.
The Jayhawks move to 1-2 in the spring exhibition season.
Berry and White both tallied goals to give KU a 2-0 lead. Berry’s goal was her third of the spring season, while White recorded her first goal.
Freshmen goalkeepers Kat Liebetrau and Logan Reed each played one half. Liebetrau held the Billikens scoreless for the first 45 minutes of play.
The Jayhawks will host South Dakota State next Saturday at 2 p.m. in the next-to-last contest of the spring.
