No. 3 Texas A&M Drops Kansas

Despite Nicole Cauzillo's second goal of the season, Kansas fell to third-ranked Texas A&M, 5-1, Sunday at the Aggie Soccer Complex.
The Aggies improve to 7-2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Big 12, while the Jayhawks fall to 1-8-2 overall and 0-1-1 in the conference.
Ashlee Pistorus scored a hat trick to power the Aggie offense.
Texas A&M took a 1-0 lead in the 41st minute on a goal by Natalie Curry. Curry bent a corner kick off the far post and into the net at 40:31.
The Aggies struck again in the 52nd minute as Ashlee Pistorus headed home a cross from Rachel Shipley. Shipley chipped a pass from the far side of the box to the middle where Pistorus used her head to direct the ball past goalkeeper Colleen Quinn on the far side.
After Texas A&M took a 3-0 lead, KU answered as senior Nicole Cauzillo finished a play at the top of the box. Sophomore Kim Boyer started the play, sending a cross from the near side to sophomore Monica Dolinsky, who touched a pass to Cauzillo for the goal. It was the senior's second goal of the season.
Pistorus added her second goal of the match in the 68th minute.
The Aggies outshot the Jayhawks 20-8 in the match and held a slight 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
