On a crisp, fall afternoon, KU soccer players tossed balls to the fans attending their Sunday match against Texas.

 A replay of the match will be shown on CSTV Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.

 Jessica Smith flew in for a shot on the Texas goal.
Jessica Bush stretched up to control the ball and start a KU attack.

 The Texas goalie climbed the backs of Jessica Smith and Caroline Smith on a corner kick.

 Nikki Alvarez worked her way through the Texas defense.
Michelle Rasmussen wound up for a shot on goal.

 Caroline Smith launched a header to the goal that set up KU's first goal by Afton Sauer.

 Afton Sauer watched her shot roll past the Texas goalie.
Sauer then began a celebration with Jessica Smith

 Goalie Julie Hanley made a sliding save.

 Kim Karfonta watched her game-winning shot head for the goal.
Karfonta then began her celebration with Michelle Rasmussen.

 Karfonta was the center of everyone's attention after the match.

 KU's team gathered for a leaping Rock Chalk chant.
