KU's Kastor Earns Academic All-District Honors

LAWRENCE, Kan. - University of Kansas junior forward Caroline Kastor was named Capital One Academic All-District® by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday night. Kastor was named to the second team and is the first Jayhawk to claim a spot on the prestigious list since 2006. The Capital One Academic All-District® teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom and are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average above 3.3 and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
