Split time as KU's designated hitter and pitcher... Made 49 starts, including 19 in the pitcher's circle... Shared the team lead with six home runs and was one of four players with 20-plus RBIs, batting in 20 runs... Pitched a team-high 145.0 innings of work in 34 appearances and earned the most wins with eight... Also saw the most circle time during Big 12 Conference play making 10 starts in 14 appearances... Sixth all-time at KU with a .477 career slugging percentage and eighth with 17 career home runs... Went 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the team's first victory vs. Sam Houston State (2/13)... Had at least one hit in every game of the Frost Classic (2/26-28)... Went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in vs. Austin Peay (2/28)... Hit the game-winning home run in the second game of a doubleheader at Creighton (4/15), where she went 3-for-5 with two RBIs... Played in 47 games and made 42 starts for KU, mostly as a designated hitter... Led the team with 10 home runs and a .573 slugging percentage as a cleanup hitter... Tied for first on the team with nine doubles... Also shared team lead with 30 runs batted in... Had nine multiple-hit games on the season and seven games with two-plus RBIs... Batted in the winning run versus No. 10 Cal (2/22) in the eighth inning... Recorded a career-best six RBIs against North Dakota State (3/6)... Collected a pair of two-run doubles in the first game of a doubleheader versus UMKC (4/14)... Hit a home run in four consecutive games in the series against Baylor and Wichita State (4/25 and 4/28)... Also made eight appearances from the pitcher's circle and drew two starts... Threw the first 2.1 innings in a win versus No. 9 Northwestern (2/7)... Made another start versus Western Carolina (2/13) where she recorded a career-high seven strikeouts... Made 29 appearances, including 12 starts, from the pitcher's circle... Went 9-4 with a 3.10 ERA... Recorded one save and combined for four shutouts... Struck out 58 batters in 99.1 innings of work... Was 2-1 with 10 appearances in conference play... Tossed 33.2 innings against Big 12 teams and collected 21 strikeouts... Also made 14 appearances as a designated player and pinch hitter during the season... Collected four hits, including a home run, and drove in three runs, while scoring six herself.

Member of the teams that won the 2004, 2006 and 2007 Mojave River League Championship... Qualified for the state quarterfinals in 2005, semifinals in 2006 and won the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Championship in 2007... Named first team all-league from 2004-2007 including league Most Valuable Player in 2006 and 2007... Was the 2006 Daily Press Athlete of the Year... Earned first team All-CIF honors in 2005 and 2006... Named league and Citrus Belt Area Athlete of the Year in 2007... Ended the 2007 season with an ERA of 0.00 highlighted by a 13-strikeout, three-hit performance in the CIF Championship game... Holds 10 single-season school records for Hesperia High School including 248 strikeouts, 66 assists, a .553 batting average, eight home runs, 39 runs, three triples, 11 doubles, 51 hits, 20 walks and a 20-game hitting streak...
