An All-Big 12 First Team and NFCA Second Team All-Region selection in 2006 ... Selected as the USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Week by the Amateur Softball Association for the period of May 8-14 ... Named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on April 4 and April 11 ... Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team ... Awarded the Defensive Player of the Year award at the team's season-ending banquet ... Was the returning ace on the mound with 44 appearances and 34 starts for the Jayhawks ... Posted a 19-17 record, held hitters to a .156 batting average and posted a 1.19 ERA (both ranked second in the Big 12 only to Texas' Cat Osterman) ...
