An All-Big 12 First Team and NFCA Second Team All-Region selection in 2006 ... Selected as the USA Softball National Collegiate Player of the Week by the Amateur Softball Association for the period of May 8-14 ... Named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on April 4 and April 11 ... Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team ... Awarded the Defensive Player of the Year award at the team's season-ending banquet ... Was the returning ace on the mound with 44 appearances and 34 starts for the Jayhawks ... Posted a 19-17 record, held hitters to a .156 batting average and posted a 1.19 ERA (both ranked second in the Big 12 only to Texas' Cat Osterman) ... Her 262 strikeouts in 234.2 innings rank third on the KU single-season record list ... Fanned 10 or more batters on seven occasions ... 2004: Freshman Season
Led KU and finished eighth in the Big 12 with a 1.57 ERA as a rookie ... Finished the season 14-12 and made 31 appearances on the mound ... Pitched 20 complete games (178.0 innings), striking out 181 and holding batters to just a .195 batting average ... Pitched five shutouts -- including two 3-0 games versus No. 13 Nebraska ... Named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on May 4 after picking up wins against the No. 13 Huskers (3-0) and Texas (3-0) ... Recorded double-digit strikeouts five times ... Fanned 12 batters against Creighton on April 1 and then set a career high with 13 strikeouts against Texas Tech on April 4 ... Threw a one-hitter against No. 17 Nebraska on March 6 ...
