Originally founded as the Outland Club in 1949 by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams, the Williams Education Fund (WEF) is the official fundraising department for Kansas Athletics.

2013 (Sophomore Season) Named to the NFCA All-Midwest Region Second Team as a utility player after hitting .337 with 10 doubles... A versatile and selfless player, Stein made starts at first base, at catcher and at the designated player position... Led the Jayhawks with a career-high 49 RBIs, which ranked seventh in the Big 12... Got out to a hot start, driving in two runs against NC State in the season opener (2/8)... Went 3-for-3 with a double against Indiana State (2/15) to kick off the Tiger Invitational at Auburn... Broke out three hits and three RBIs at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/22)... Tied her career-high with four hits and chipped in three more RBIs in the Jayhawks' comeback victory against Auburn (2/22)... Became the first Jayhawk to tally six RBIs in a game since 2011, helping KU defeat Southern (2/23)... Hit her first home run of the season to help KU set a program record with 20 runs scored in a win against Lafayette (3/2)... Went 3-for-3 with two RBIs at Florida Atlantic (3/9)... Hit a bases-clearing double at Texas Tech (4/7) to help the Jayhawks clinch their first conference series sweep on the road since 2007... Hit .400 with three RBIs during the series at Oklahoma State (4/19-21)... Belted her second home run of the year against UMKC (4/24)... Tied her career-high with her 4-for-4 performance and added three RBIs in the season finale at Iowa State (5/12).
2012 (Freshman Season) Named All-Big 12 Conference Second Team after posting a .371 overall batting average and a .358 average in Big 12 action... Her .371 mark checks in at eighth best all time in KU history... Versatile, multi-talented freshman, appearing in the outfield, at first base, catcher and in designated player roles in 36 games for the Jayhawks... Finished the season with a .371 batting average, recording 36 hits in 97 at bats... Recorded a .567 slugging percentage and a .404 on base percentage for the season... Went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Charlotte (2/17)... Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and 2 RBIs against Delaware State (3/10)... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI against Missouri State (3/27)... Recorded two hits in three at bats against No. 7 Oklahoma (4/1)... Cranked out a 2-for-3 effort in the series opener at No. 22/25 Baylor (4/6) and collected another hit in the series finale vs. the Bears (4/7)... Went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored against Wichita State (4/11)... Recorded one hit in three at bats including two RBIs and a run scored in game two against Wichita State (4/11)... Went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored against Texas (4/13)... Recorded seven hits with eight RBI's, two doubles, three home runs, and five runs scored in the series against Iowa State (4/20-22)... The weekend was highlighted by a career day in game two, where she posted her first two career homeruns and a double to set new career highs in hits (3), runs scored (3), RBIs (4) and at bats (5)... Went 2-for-3 with a home run, her fourth in three games, and two RBIs in the first game of the doubleheader against UMKC (4/25)... Recorded two hits in four at bats including a run scored against Texas A&M (5/5).
El Reno High School Lettered in softball four years at El Reno HS for coach Lynetta Keller... Led the Indians to four-straight Regional Championships, including the state quarterfinals in her junior and senior seasons... Posted a .509 batting average with 21 doubles and a .750 slugging percentage in her senior season to earn all-region and all-state catcher... Earned four Suburban all-conference awards for utility (1 yr.), third base (2 yrs.) and catcher (1 yr.)... Awarded all-big city third base in 2009... Recorded a slugging percentage over .700 and a .500-plus batting average in both her junior and senior seasons... Also lettered in tennis for four years and basketball and soccer for one year.
Club Played for the Oklahoma Athletics Gold and coached by Brian Madden... Team won 16U Canada Cup in 2006, AFA 16U Nationals in 2007 and USSSA 18U Nationals in 2009.
Personal Born Madison Brooke Stein in Oklahoma City, Okla.... Daughter of Steve Stein and Amy Jones... Has a younger sister, Molly... Cousin, Bob Stein, played football for the Kansas City Chiefs and was a member of the 1969 Super Bowl IV team... Plans to major in sports management and attend law school.
