No. 5/6 Northwestern Tops Kansas, 2-0

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Despite a two-hitter by freshman pitcher Allie Clark, Kansas softball could not generate enough offense as it fell to No. 5/6 Northwestern, 2-0, during the Coach B Southern Classic. With the loss, KU drops to 12-5 overall, while Northwestern improves to 8-2 on the season. Northwestern pitcher Lauren Delaney didn't give the Jayhawks much to work with as she limited KU to just one hit, a single by Elle Pottorf, through seven innings.
