LAWRENCE, Kan. -

A variety of fun giveaways and promotions are scheduled for all 14 of Kansas softball's home games at Arrocha Ballpark in 2011.

In KU's home opener versus Missouri on March 23, the first 50 students admitted to the game will receive a free corndog and candy. In the second contest of a two-game series with Nebraska, fans who come to the game can get a free pack of trading cards featuring the Jayhawk softball team. Jayhawk seat cushions will be handed out on April 6 when Kansas faces Oklahoma.

Then, on April 17, KU will hold its annual Pink in the Park game as it welcomes Baylor to Arrocha Ballpark. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to gain entry for just $3. Donations will be accepted at the game to benefit cancer treatment and research at the KU Cancer Center and Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
