The KU softball team huddled to sing the alma mater prior to the their game against Texas in the Big 12 Softball Tournament in Oklahoma City.

Freshman pitcher Christina Ross was impressive against the Longhorns.

Ashley Frazer fielded a ball that fell just out of reach of shortstop Destiny Frankenstein.

Jackie Vasquez slid into second base on a steal attempt.

Ashley Frazer lined a single into left against Texas.

Pitcher Christina Ross fielded a Longhorns' sacrifice bunt.

Catcher Elle Pottorf tried to block the plate, but Texas scored the winning run in the eigth inning.

Christina Ross was back leaping off the mound against Oklahoma in KU's second game of the day.

Nicole Washburn threw to first on an OU sacrifice.

Oklahoma scored their second run on a collision at home plate.

Serena Settlemier relieved Ross and held the Sooners to only one more run.

Coach Tracy Bunger worked to keep her team pointed in the right direction which could include an NCAA invitation.
