The KU team celebrated after receiving the Championship trophy.

Coach Tracy Bunge hugged and thanked each senior for their leadership.

Coach Bunge waved in thanks to the team's and fan's cheers.

Val Chapple leaped out of the way after touching the bag for a force out for the second out in the fifth inning.

On the next play, Chapple dove to tag third for a force that ended Oklahoma's final threat.

Chapple celebrated her defensive gems with her teammates.

Stevie Crisosto got KU off to a fast start with a hit in the first inning.

Betsy Wilson and Nicole Washburn cheered as KU scored two runs in the first inning.

Destiny Frankenstein picked up the first out of the fifth inning with a force out at second on a bunt attempt.

Frankenstein slid home safely with KU's fourth run in the sixth inning.

Frankenstein celebrated the victory.

Kassie Humphreys made a six-inning, one-hit relief appearance to lead KU to victory.

Humphreys shouted with joy after the final out.

Nicole Washburn leaped into Humphreys arms.

Jessica Moppin made a sterling backhanded play...

...turned and leaped...

...to make a throw to first to nip the runner in the fourth inning.

Moppin saluted the dugout after driving in the two game-winning runs with a double in the sixth inning.

Serena Settlemier had three hits in the game and was named Championship MVP.

KU's players let everyone know who was #1 in the Big 12.
