*Will serve as captain for 2011-12 season* 2010-11 (Junior): 2009-10 (Sophomore): Anchored the 200-yard freestyle relay team at the Big 12 Championships, which placed ninth (1:36.03)... Anchored a 200-yard medley relay team that placed third vs. Drury (1:56.34)... Was part of a 200-yard freestyle relay that placed second vs. UNO (1:41.75)... An Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection... Named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Athletic Director's Honor Roll for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010. 2008-09 (Freshman): Provided solid depth in the freestyle events in her rookie campaign... Placed 32nd in the 50 yard freestyle (24.35), 35th in the 200 yard freestyle (1:56.47), and 37th in the 100 yard freestyle (53.17) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships... High School (Home-Schooled): Swam with her club team, the Manhattan Marlins... Division 1 Champion in the 100-yard free ... Personal best times include 24.44 50-yard free, 53.2 100-yard free and 27.6 50-meter free... Named to the Missouri Valley All-Academic Team... A USA Swimming Scholastic All-American... Won the Manhattan Marlins "Most Inspirational" Award in 2006-07 and the "Workhorse" Award in 2007-08. Personal: Parents are Bruce and Judy Hettenbach... An exercise science major.
