2010-11 (Senior): Scored a total of 30-points for Kansas at the 2011 Big 12 Championships in Austin, Texas, where she placed 21st in the 100 freestyle with a career best time of 51.70 and 22nd in the 50 free with a season best time of 23.65... Finished first in 100 Free (52.97) and second in 50 Free (24.49), versus South Dakota/Northern Iowa... Swam to second place finish in 50 Free versus Nebraska with 24.15 time... Continued dominance in 50 Free with first place performance and 24.37 time at Vanderbilt... Racked up another second place finish, this time at Florida International with 24.35 time in 50 Free... At the Georgia Fall Invitational she swam a season best time in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.12... Maez had at least the fifth fastest time on the team in four different events during the 2010-11 season. Named an Academic All-American and was honored by the Big 12 Conference as well as Chick-fil-A as a member of the 2011 Winter Community of Champions for her hard work in and out of the pool.
2009-10 (Junior): Set a career-best time at the Big 12 Championships, placing 22nd in the 100-yard freestyle (51.96)... Placed 16th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.91), in addition to anchoring the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:31.62 - 4th) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:39.35 - 3rd)... Took third place in the 50 freestyle at Drury (24.34) and against UNO (24.58)... Helped earn seven points in three relays at the Big 12 Relays... Named a First Team Academic All-America by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America... An Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection... Named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Athletic Director's Honor Roll for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
2008-09 (Sophomore): Provided solid depth for the Jayhawks in the freestyle events... Placed 19th in the 50 yard freestyle (23.78), 30th in the 100 yard freestyle (52.07) and 34th in the 200 yard freestyle (1:56.40) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships... She had the fifth best time of any Jayhawk in the 100 yard freestyle on the season... She was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First team with a 4.0 GPA.
2007-08 (Freshman): An immediate contributor in the sprint freestyle realm her freshman season as a Jayhawk... Represented the `Hawks at the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet in Austin, Texas... Returned to the finals in both the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events... Placed 11th in the 50-yard free at Big 12s with a time of 23.96... Big 12 50-yard free time was the fourth-best team time for Kansas during the 2007-08 season... Finished 23rd at the Big 12 meet in the 100-yard free, clocking in at 52.45... Was a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay that finished fifth at Big 12s and recorded a season-best time... Was a Nike Cup-Kenyon Invitational competitor... Raced to a time of 53.59 in the 100 free, good for an 18th-place finish, at the Nike Cup... Additionally placed 19th in the 50-yard free (24.69)... Was a member of the 200 free relay and the 200 and 400-yard medley relays at the Nike Cup.
High School (La Cueva): A three-year letterwinner in swimming... Recorded school records in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle... Made sectional cuts in the 50 and 100 free, as well as the 400 IM... Was the New Mexico high school state champion in the 200 IM and the anchor leg of the winning 400-yard free relay... Named the Albuquerque Public School Female Athlete of the Year in 2005... Received Top-16 times in both 2006 and 2007 at the NISCA state meets... Was the 2006 New Mexico High School water polo MVP... A recipient of the 2007 Academic All-District award... Team was Albuquerque Public School Girls All-City Champions 2004-07... Was a member of the National Honor Society 2005-06... An Academic Letter recipient in 2006 and 2007... Spanish National Honor Society member 2005-06.
