Ryan Meeker

Ryan Meeker enters his first season as a volunteer assistant diving coach for Eric Elliott and the Jayhawks. Meeker had a successful collegiate diving career at Missouri, where he was a two-time qualifier for the NCAA Zone"D" Diving Championships and competed in them during the 2007-08 season. meeker was also an eight-time finalist during the Big 12 Championships during his four year career. Before diving for the Tigers, Meeker was a two-time Kansas state champion (2005, 2006), while attending Shawnee Mission North High School. Some of Meeker's coaching experience includes head junior team coach of the Great Plains Diving Association as well as acting as an assistant and eventually head coach for the Indian Hills Country Club in Shawnee Mission, Kan. He was also an assistant for the Missouri Diving Club. When he is not assisting diving coach Eric Elliott, Meeker is hard at work as the new head coach of the Jayhawk Diving Club in Lawrence. |
