2013 Big 12 Newcomer of the Year... Big 12 Newcomer of the Meet at the 2013 Big 12 Championships... Athletic Director's and Big 12 Commisioner's Honor Roll (Fall 2012)... Picked up three top-three finishes in a dual meet at Rice (10/6), finishing first in the 400-yard IM (4:26.57), second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:20.77) and third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:03.07)... Grabbed two first-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly (59.64) and the 200-yard IM (2:09.17) in a dual at Nebraska-Omaha (10/25)... Picked up three top-three finishes in a double-dual meet against TCU and North Dakota (11/2-3), taking first in the 400-yard IM (2:25.24) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.82) and second in the 200-yard IM (2:07.78)... Took home two second-place finishes in the 200-yard IM (2:05.33) and the 400-yard IM (4:21.47) and a third-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle (17:07.44) at the Kansas Classic (11/16-18)... Finished first in the 400-yard IM (4:26.79) in a dual at Hawaii (1/18)... Picked up a pair of top-three finishes in a dual against No. 18 Arkansas (2/2), finishing second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:59.25) and third in the 200-yard butterfly (2:06.61)... Picked up first-place finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:13.43) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:03.94) in a dual against Iowa State (2/8-9)... Closed out the season with three top-five finishes at the Big 12 Championships (2/27-3/2), setting season-best times in the 400-yard IM (4:15.01, second), the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:26.33, fourth) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.66, fourth).
