Academic All-Big 12 Second Team...Athletic Director's and Big 12 Commisioner's Honor Roll (Fall 2012)... Finished second in the 200-yard backstroke, in a dual meet at Rice (10/6), with a time of 2:04.55... Closed out the season at the Big 12 Championships (2/27-3/2) by finishing 14th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.83) and 25th in the 200-yard IM (2:08.93).

2011-12 (Freshman)
Specializes in the backstroke... Finished second in the 200-yard IM, with a time of 2:14.39, in a dual meet with Nebraska-Omaha (11/19)... Finished the year with season-best times in the 100-yard backstroke (57.97), the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.55) and the 200-yard IM (2:07.74), at the Big 12 Championships (2/22-25).

High School (Fairview)
Competed in 2011 5A State Championship Finals in 200-yard IM (2:14.58) and 100-yard backstroke (1:00.55)... Finished third in four events at finals of 2011 Boulder County Invitational... Named All-American ins wimming in 2010 and 2011... Swam for Rally Sport Aquatic Club under Coach Grant Holicky.

Parents are Lou and Donna Patterson... Uncle played tennis at West Texas State and another uncle played Basketball at Lamoni College... Majoring in journalism.
