2010-11 (Senior): Scored seven points for Kansas At the 2011 Big 12 Championships, where she finished10th in the 200 butterfly and 20th in the 100 butterfly with a career best time of 55.47. Also had a season best time of 2:05.42 in the 200 IM... Finished first in 100 Fly (57.41) versus South Dakota/Northern Iowa... Tied for second with her sister (Alyssa), with 2:04.71 time in 200 Fly versus Nebraska... Claimed first place honors in 200 Fly with (2:03.62), performance at Vanderbilt... Finished tied for third in 100 Fly with 59.95 time versus Florida International... Had one of her best meets of the year at the Georgia Fall Invitational, where she swam a season best time in the 200 butterfly (2:01.17)... Took first place in 200 Fly (2:03.93), in double-dual meet versus Drury/North Dakota... Claimed second in 200 Fly versus Missouri with 2:04.92 time... Had at least the fifth fastest time on team in three events (100/200 fly and 200 IM), during 2010-11 season... Earned a perfect grade point average every semester as a student-athlete... 2009-10 (Junior): Placed 11th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.41) and 16th in the 100-yard butterfly (56.48) at the Big 12 Championships... Recorded a career-best time in the 400-yard IM (4:28.79) at the UVA Invitational... Won the 200 butterfly (2:05.81) at the UNI/USD double dual... Took third in the 100 butterfly (57.25) at the UCLA/Fresno State double dual... Placed second in the 200 butterfly against Nebraska (2:05.54), Missouri (2:05.10) and LMU/UCSD (2:06.39)... Earned third place in the 100 butterfly (57.69) vs. Drury... Helped earn eight points in four relays at the Big 12 Relays... An Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection with a perfect 4.0 GPA... 2008-09 (Sophomore): A solid all-around swimmer that excels in the butterfly and I.M. events... Placed 11th in the 200 yard butterfly (2:01.03), 15th in the 100 yard butterfly (56.10) and 21st in the 200 yard I.M. (2:05.16) at the 2009 Big 12 Championships... Earned KU eight points at the 2009 Big 12 Championships... Owns the fifth-fastest 200 yard butterfly time in school history with her performance at Columbia, Mo.... Had the team's third-fastest times on the season in the 100 and 200 yard butterfly events... She also had the team's fourth-best time in the 200 yard I.M. on the season... Twin-sister, Alyssa, is also on the Jayhawk swim team... She was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First team with a 4.0 GPA.
2007-08 (Freshman): Recorded two dual meet first-place victories her first season as a Jayhawk... Placed first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.81) against Northern Iowa and first in the 100-yard fly (58.70) against Nebraska-Omaha... Additionally placed third in the 200 fly versus Iowa... Recorded top-five team times in the 100 and 200-yard fly and the 200-yard IM, all achieved at the 2008 Big 12 Championship meet... Was a member of a 200-yard medley relay at Big 12s... Returned to finals of the 100 and 200-yard fly events at the Big 12 meet, placing 10th in the 200-yard event (2:02.67) and 13th in the 100-yard event (56.55)... Recorded a season-best time at Big 12s in the 200 IM (2:09.08)... Represented Kansas at the Nike Cup with a fourth-place finish in the 200 fly, ninth in the 400 IM, 10th in the 100 fly, 11th in the 200 IM and 16th in the 200-yard backstroke... Was additionally a member of the 200 and 400-yard medley relays and the 200, 400 and 800-yard free relays at the 2008 Nike Cup-Kenyon Invite.
High School (Bentonville): Received a total of eight letters in high school between swimming, track and cross country... Swim team was the Arkansas State champion 2004-07... Cross country won state honors in 2004 and 2006 and track team won state in 2007... A member of the high school medley relay team that set a state record three years in a row... Was a junior national qualifier... Received all-conference and all-state honors in swimming 2005-07, in track 2006 and 2007 and in cross country 2004 and 2006... A USA Scholastic All-American athlete.
Personal: Parents are Mark and Helen Potter... Twin sister, Alyssa, was also a member of the Kansas swim team... is in the KU School of Pharmacy... Has ambition to own her own pharmacy.
