Finished first, with a career-best time, in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:09.94) and second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:03.40), in a dual meet with Missouri (11/11)... Racked up 37 points for the Jayhawks at the 2011 Big 12 Championships in Austin, TX and was a member of the 800 freestyle relay that finished fourth... Swam career best times at Big 12's in the 1650 (16:34.73, fifth), 500 freestyle (4:49.99, 13^th) and 400 IM (4:26.92, 13^th)... Finished first in 1000 freestyle (10:13.56) and second in 500 Freestyle (5:01.59) against Nebraska... Swam to second place finish (16:48.20), in 1650 Freestyle against Arkansas... In 500 Free versus Vanderbilt, earned first place honors with 4:56.71 time and second in 200 Free (1:54.54)... Finished first in two events during double-dual at Florida International with 10:12.06 time in 1000 Freestyle and 4:58.36 performance in 500 Free... At Georgia Fall Invitational, swam a career best in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:51.69 and finished in the top ten of the 1650 freestyle (16:44.60)... Versus Missouri, earned a career best time in the 1000 freestyle with 10:05.54 performance... Finished third in 200 Free (1:53.43), versus Drury/North Dakota... Racked up another third place time (10:07.88), at Arizona... Was named newcomer of the year... Recorded three career-best times at the Big 12 championships, placing seventh in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:43.63), 14^th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:51.90) and 22^nd in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.89)... Won the 1650 freestyle (17:03.74) and the 500 freestyle (5:02.97) against Nebraska... Won the 1000-yard freestyle (10:17.67) and the 500 freestyle (5:00.19) at the LMU/UCSD double dual... Was crowned champion of both the 1000 freestyle (10:16.10) and the 500 freestyle (5:04.85) against Drury... Took second in the 1000 freestyle (10:22.85) and third in the 500 freestyle (5:03.77) against Missouri... Won the 500 freestyle (4:58.55) at the UNI/USD double dual... Named First Team Academic All-America by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America...
