Kansas Swimming and Diving Tops Iowa State in Final Home Dual

Kansas swimming and diving won seven-of-eight Saturday and 15-of-16 overall in the two-day event, defeating Big 12 opponent Iowa State, 195-99, at Robinson Natatorium. The Jayhawks improved to 10-5 in dual competition and 2-1 against the Big 12.
This was the annual senior meet, KU's final home dual meet of the season, honoring the accomplishments of the senior class (Joy Bunting, Iuliia Kuzhil, Amanda Maez, Alyssa Potter and Brittany Potter).

On the diving side, sophomore Christy Cash took the top spot in the one-meter dive with a score of 257.17.
Other winners included sophomore Monica Johannessen, who placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (24.25), freshman Alison Lusk, who won the 150-yard breaststroke (1:42.74), junior Shannon Garlie, who took first in the 400-yard freestyle (3:57.06) and junior Abigail Anderson, who won the 50-yard butterfly (25.93).
