Roberts Places 17th at NCAA Zone D Diving Regional

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Kansas redshirt-freshman diver Jenny Roberts finished 17th in one-meter diving competition at the NCAA Zone D Diving Regional in College Station, Texas. The Chesterfield, Mo., native recorded a score of 414.40. With her score, Roberts did not qualify to compete in the NCAA Championships. "Jenny stepped up and did a nice job at this meet," diving head coach Eric Elliott said. "She did a lot of growing this season. The experience she got this season will be valuable in the future."
Kansas swimming will next be in action when senior Amy Gruber and sophomore Jenny Short compete in the NCAA Championships, March 17-19, in West Lafayette, Ind. Complete Kansas results can be found on the Kansas athletics website following each day of competition.
