Cash Leads Jayhawk Divers at Phil Hansel Invite

HOUSTON – Kansas senior Christy Cash finished with a score of 239.95 in one-meter diving to lead the Jayhawk divers during day two of the Phil Hansel Invite at Campus Recreation & Wellness Center at the University of Houston Friday evening.
Cash’s score placed her 19th in the event, while teammate, freshman Meredith Brownell, placed 28th with a score of 218.90. Junior Alyssa Golden scored 202.50 to finish 40th, while freshman Madeline Martin scored a 166.45 to place 56th.
Kansas will complete its weekend at the Phil Hansel Invite on Saturday with platform diving, beginning at noon.
