Jayhawks Drop 6-1 Decision to No. 15 Texas Tech

Kansas faces West Virginia, Iowa State at home next weekend to finish the regular season.

Fall 2012 (Freshman): Quickly established herself as one of the team's best players despite only signing with Kansas in May... Finished the fall season with an 8-5 record in singles play, including an 8-1 mark during the first month of the season... Had her team's best individual showing at the ITA Regional Championships in Tulsa, Okla., winning three consecutive matches to advance to the quarterfinals of the main singles draw... Crowned champion of Singles Draw C in her collegiate debut at the first KU Invitational, defeating Kansas State's Ana Gomez and Wichita State's Carla Venticinque in back-to-back three-set matches... Also won her doubles draw with partner Haley Fournier in the season opener... Finished 7-4 for the fall in doubles... Won five matches in a row to start the season with Fournier... Advanced to the second round of ITA Regionals while paired with Maria Belen Ludueña.
