Spring 2006 (Junior): Did not compete in any matches during the spring dual season. Fall 2005 (Junior): In limited action, compiled a 2-3 singles record during the fall...Advanced to the consolation final of the flight E singles bracket at Hoosier Classic...Closed out her season by defeating Clare Chmiel of DePaul at the WMU Super Challenge...Teamed with Smith to go 3-4 in doubles action...Notched a 2-2 record with Smith at the Hoosier Classic. Spring 2005 (Sophomore): Finished 4-16 in single play, with the majority of her action coming at the No. 5 position.... Teamed with Skoda to go 5-6 in doubles competition... Earned the team's only point against Mississippi State with a tiebreak victory over Carlin Cochran...Earned an ITA Scholar-Athlete Award for her academic excellence during the Spring `05 semester. Fall 2004 (Sophomore): Earned a 1-3 singles record... Downed Wichita State's Wendi Webster, 6-4, 6-4, to earn her lone fall victory... Compiled a 1-6 mark in doubles... Combined with Smith for a 1-1 record. Spring 2004 (Freshman): Had a record of 1-10 in singles... Earned a 1-10 record in singles... Earned her first win in dual action against Aveen Alkhatib of Kansas State, 6-2, 6-2... Earned a 7-14 doubles record and went 7-12 with Emily Haylock... The pair combined to win three-straight in duals against Hawaii, Iowa State and Nebraska. Fall 2003 (Freshman): Finished with a 3-6 fall record... Won her final two matches of the season... Won her first collegiate match on Sept. 27 against Kindsay Grimes of Tulsa, 0-6, 6-3, 6-2... Went 3-3 in doubles with Loureiro. High School: Played tennis for two years... Took second place and fifth place at state in doubles her two years. Personal: Born on Feb. 22, 1984...Parents are James Filberth and Christine Alexander... Major is undecided. |
