Fall 2010 (Senior): Saw action in all four fall events, going 0-12 in singles and partnering with Victoria Khanevskaya for a career-high mark in doubles with a 7-6 record... After dropping first doubles match of the season, went on to win seven straight with Khanevskaya... Captured the Green Doubles Flight title in the Notre Dame Eck Classic.
2009-2010 (Junior): Competed in nine singles matches in three fall events, compiling overall records of 1-10 in singles play and 2-5 in doubles... Played in six doubles matches with partner Allie Dzuba... Saw action against South Dakota... Went 1-0 at the No. 6 singles singles spot and 1-0 with Erin Wilbert in No. 3 doubles. 2008-2009 (Sophomore): Went 1-6 in singles action at two fall tournaments... Teamed with Allie Dzuba to go 2-4 in doubles play.... Did not see action in the spring season. 2007-2008 (Freshman): In first season as a walk-on, went 0-3 in singles action in just one event, the preseason Hawaii Spring Invitational... Teamed with Emily Gorham to go 2-1 in doubles play at the event. High School: Attended Saquaro High in Scottsdale, Ariz., where she excelled both on the courts and in the classroom... Coached by Trey Johnston... Was the Regional Champion as a junior and runner-up as a senior... Won the Grand Canyon State Games... Finished fourth at Arizona Junior Open... Also a member of state runner-Up volleyball team and state champion cheerleading squad... Member of National Honor Society and National Honor Roll... Finished in the top 13 percent of her graduating class.
Personal: Born Kate Marie Goff in Phoenix, Ariz... Parents are Dave and Amy Goff... Has an older sister, Danielle, and a younger brother, William... Father played college basketball at Texas A&M and cousin Nick Goff played at North Texas... Uncles Ken Goff and Jason Simon and Aunt Kristy Goff-Simon all attended KU... Majoring in broadcast journalism and communication studies.
