Fall 2008 (Sophomore): Did not play due to injury. Spring 2008 (Freshman):Picked up her first collegiate singles victory at the Hawaii Spring Invitational on Jan. 17... Went 1-2 in singles play at 2-1 in doubles action with Kate Goff at the event... Did not play in any of KU's dual matches. High School: Played under coach Joey Cantu... Four-time letterwinner... First player in Texas history to advance to state in all three catagories (singles in 2005, doubles in 2003 and 2004, and mixed doubles in 2006)... Four-time individual district champion... Four-time state tournament competitor... Nationally ranked by USTA as a junior... Junior Olympics silver medalist... San Antonio All-Area Athlete selection... Member of the National Honor Society. |
