High School: Played under coach Joey Cantu... Four-time letterwinner... First player in Texas history to advance to state in all three catagories (singles in 2005, doubles in 2003 and 2004, and mixed doubles in 2006)... Four-time individual district champion... Four-time state tournament competitor... Nationally ranked by USTA as a junior... Junior Olympics silver medalist... San Antonio All-Area Athlete selection... Member of the National Honor Society.
